Library Services
The Libby High School library has an impressive collection of resources. Open 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M., the library has thirty computers, all which are equipped with high speed internet and a variety of programs and subscriptions to online references. The LHS library also has a quite notable collection of Montana/Libby History materials. Books from Local Legacies, the Montana Heritage Project, and other miscellaneous books make up the compilation of Montana history.

Infotrac: Infotrac is a comprehensive and powerful reference for student and adult research. It combines thousands of articles from major encyclopedias, reference books, magazines, and other sources onto a single website. Site includes fast and easy search tools to make obtaining information as simple and quick as possible. Infortrac information can be accessed anytime from any computer. To obtain website and password just go to local school library.
Worldbook: Libby High School library also has a subscription to World Book Encyclopedia. It includes 25,000 articles, 10,000 photos and maps, over 100 videos and animations , over 9,000 audio clips, and129 panoramic 360 views. Can be accessed from any computer. Trade Schools: Find a trade school in your area, and/or compare schools and degrees. Flexible schedules, free info, and no password or login name required.
Britannica: Access to Britannica information can only be used on high school computers and with the Libby High School username and password. Britannica combines New and old news articles, encyclopedia articles, atlas, and other data from around the world to give you a wide variety of information. Site also has Merriam-Webster Dictionary and Thesaurus.
Montana Careers: Montana Careers is an online site that allows high school students to browse through scholarship offers, search for jobs, look at job training, etc. Anything that might be useful in preparing for life after high school. This program is most useful for the Seniors at Libby High, but also benefits everyone.
